The mission of the Nigerian Alliance for Peace is to make a culture of peace a priority throughout Nigeria by:
1.) Promoting campaign to establish government-level Ministry of Peace and other related peace structures and infrastructure;
2.) Promote the establishment of Peace Academies in Nigeria;
3.) Promote trainings in nonviolence and rehabilitate displaced persons
from conflict zones;
4.) Promote nonviolent expression of human rights and responsibilities;
5.) Promote peace education.
